Most years the snow is gone by the time of the tulips, but that year it hit in late April! This year the last snow came in March!

pretty amazing contrast between winter and spring! thanks for your comments Louise. I'm always trying to find some new way to combine my photography w/ painting, and it doesn't always work the way i want. I just ordered a black& white canvas print of one of my photos from FAA and am going to experiment w/ painting it. However,that would be too costly to do on a regular basis. I'll let you know how it goes. have you checked out the mixed media group on this site? maybe they'll have some tips. best to you and i enjoy your work very much.
