Artist's Description
These 2 muskox are females with fairly new babies nearby. They are 5 year old mothers. This herd is in Palmer Alaska where they are developing a domesticated herd. Muskox died off in Alaska and have been brought back and reintroduced both in the wild and in this limited domestic attempt. It isn't fully domesticaed yet, but who knows where they will be in 50 years!
